T3 of Indira Gandhi Airport by Oct'10

The T3 terminal of Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) is anticipated to be operational before October 2010 in New Delhi.

The terminal is being built at a cost of Rs 8,996 crore. It has four boarding piers with 48 boarding gates and 78 aerobridges. The terminal will also have 63 elevators and 31 escalators. T3 will increase the capacity of IGIA to 60 mn passengers annually.

The airport is being built by Delhi International Airport, a consortium led by Bengaluru based GMR, comprising Airports Authority of India, Malaysian Airport and Frankfurt Airport.
