Under UDAN, 100 new airports to be developed

In line with its commitment to promote domestic travel and include those areas which haven't been connected so far, the government has announced 100 additional airports by 2024 under the UDAN scheme. This is part of the National Infrastructure Plan and will ease the strain on existing airports.
