Government to spend 19 bn on Ro-Ro projects

The  Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways will financially support 45 Ro-Ro (roll-on-rolloff) ferry projects costing Rs.19 billion. The ministry operationalised Ro-Pax ferry service from Ghogha-Hazira in Gujarat to Mumbai-Mandwa in Maharashtra. The guidelines promote ease of doing business via eliminating unnecessary delays, disputes, and introducing digital interventions at the customer interface.
