Navayuga-led JV emerges as the successful bidder for Ramayapatnam port

The Joint Venture led by Navayuga Engineering Company Limited has been selected as the successful bidders for the construction of a greenfield port at Ramayapatnam in Prakasam district. The JV quoted a price 0.5% less than IBM values. The port is one of the four non-major port which are set to come up in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Recently the Prakasam administration cleared a major hurdle by convincing villagers to give their land. According to the data, 650 acres of land were required to start the first phase of the port project.
