Railways bag nine awards for energy conservation

South Central Railways took home the top two honours in the category for railroad stations, while Indian Railways received nine national energy conservation awards for the year 2022 overall. The first prize for energy-saving measures in railway stations went to Kacheguda station in Telangana, and the second place went to Guntakal railway station in Andhra Pradesh. The Kanpur Central Railway Station (NCR), Rajahmundry Railway Station (SCR), and Tenali Railway Station (SCR) received certificates of merit in this category.
