NHSRCL revealed that four leading India-based companies submitted offers regarding the tender notice.

The work comprises design, construction, and supply of work associated with the track, including commissioning and testing based on a Design-Build Lump price for doubling the line Speed Railway between Zaroli village at Maharashtra-Gujrat (MAHSR 156.600 km) and Vadodara (MAHSR 393.700 km) in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Gujarat for constructing Package no. MAHSR T-2.

In January 2021, the bids were invited for this contract, including the estimated completion deadline of 7.5 years.

Currently, the tenders are undergoing technical evaluation. After completion, NHSRCL would open the financial bids to reveal the contract winner.

On August 24, 2021, NHSRCL published a bid notice for track work contract package T-3 for design, construction, and supply track and related work, comprising commissioning and testing based on Design-Build lump cost for doubling the line High-Speed Railway between Sabarmati Depot and Workshop (MAHSR 509.875 km) and Vadodara (MAHSR 393.700 km)

The firms that submitted bids for the MAHAS T-2 package are Larsen & Toubro Limited, Afcons—Texmaco JV, NCC- Rahee JV, and Ircon International Limited.
