In a move to enhance transparency and ease of doing business, Rajasthan’s Mines Department has fully digitised its Lease Information System (LIS) and Demand System. Leaseholders can now access their profiles and demand details online and make payments without visiting offices. Principal Secretary T. Ravikant stated that the process allows digital document verification by Mineral Engineers. The system provides complete lease data, from issuance to mining operations. Following CM Bhajanlal Sharma’s directive, several digital initiatives have been introduced, including online mining plan approvals, improving efficiency and convenience for thousands of leaseholders statewide.
