Atlanta Electricals Secures Rs 190 Crore Order From RVPN

Atlanta Electricals Limited has secured an order from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited (RVPN) worth Rs 190 crore (Rs 1.9 billion (bn)) for the supply of 53 units of 50 MVA 132/33 KV power transformers along with 53 Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing System (NIFPES) units. The contract was notified on 2 May 2026 and specifies the aggregate order value and technical scope for the transmission segment. The company described the award as a reaffirmation of long-standing customer trust and of its execution capabilities.

The award has been issued as a rate contract for a period of two years with provision for extension in line with bid terms, and the supply is to be executed as per the technical specifications and commercial terms outlined by RVPN under the relevant bid reference. The order covers high-capacity transformers designed to meet state utility requirements and associated fire prevention systems required for transformer safety. The company indicated that delivery timelines and execution will follow the contractual schedule specified by the purchaser.

The order will strengthen Atlanta Electricals' presence in the domestic power transmission segment and will reinforce its capability to deliver technically advanced transformer solutions to leading state utilities. The contract will improve capacity utilisation across the company’s manufacturing facilities and will support ongoing grid modernisation efforts. The supply of integrated NIFPES units further emphasises the safety and operational reliability aspects of the offering.

Atlanta Electricals is a manufacturer of power transformers and related equipment with listings on national exchanges under the symbol ATLANTAELE. The company said the transaction aligns with its strategy to deepen engagements with state utilities and to expand its transmission portfolio. The award will contribute to revenue from the transmission segment during the contract period.
