Envision Energy India has announced a major new partnership with renewable energy developer Evren, securing a 501.6 MW order for its advanced wind turbine technology. The agreement includes the supply of approximately 152 units of Envision’s EN 156/3.3 MW Smart Wind Turbines, which will be deployed at a wind project site in Andhra Pradesh.

Evren, backed by the Brookfield Global Transition Fund (BGTF), is scaling up its renewable energy footprint across India, with ambitions to develop over 10 GW of solar, wind, and battery storage assets in key states such as Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh.

The EN 156/3.3 MW turbine is part of Envision’s latest generation of Smart Wind Turbines, featuring a 156-metre rotor diameter and 140-metre hub height, optimized for Indian wind conditions. This platform has demonstrated success across global markets including the MENA region, Southeast Asia, and China, and is already proven with over 2.5 GW installed capacity in India. The turbines offer increased Annual Energy Production (AEP) and deliver one of the lowest Levelized Costs of Energy (LCoE) in the segment.
