INOXGFL Group has strengthened its clean energy manufacturing footprint with the commissioning of new large-scale solar and wind facilities in Gujarat, both located near Ahmedabad.

As part of the first phase of its solar expansion, Inox Solar has commenced operations at a new manufacturing plant in Bavla with an initial capacity of 3 GW. The facility will produce advanced N-type TOPCon solar modules, including bi-facial modules capable of generating power from both sides. These modules will use M10R and G12R solar cells, which offer higher efficiency and improved energy output.

The Bavla plant forms part of Inox Solar’s broader expansion plan to scale up to 11 GW of solar module manufacturing capacity and 8 GW of solar cell capacity by FY 2027, spanning domestic and international markets.

Simultaneously, Inox Wind has inaugurated a new nacelle and hub manufacturing facility at Kalyangarh. With this addition, Inox Wind’s total manufacturing capacity has risen to 2.5 GW per annum. The new plant will manufacture nacelles and hubs for the company’s 3 MW wind turbines, as well as its upcoming 4 MW-class machines.

Inox Wind already operates multiple manufacturing units across Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh, producing key wind turbine components such as blades, towers, hubs and nacelles.

The commissioning of these facilities is expected to strengthen India’s domestic renewable energy manufacturing ecosystem and support the country’s push towards cleaner power generation and energy self-reliance.
