JSW Energy said its total operational capacity has crossed 15,025 megawatt (MW), equivalent to about 15.025 gigawatt (GW), as disclosed in an exchange filing. The company indicated that renewable sources now represent 60 per cent of the overall capacity, amounting to 9,067 MW. This milestone follows a series of commissioning activities and project completions across multiple renewable and conventional assets. The renewables portfolio comprises 3,125 MW of wind, 2,426 MW of solar, 1,735 MW of hybrid installations and 1,781 MW of hydro capacity. The thermal portfolio stood at 5,958 MW, sustaining baseload and grid stability requirements while the renewable share grows. Together the figures reflect a balanced mix as the firm scales its generation base.

JSW Energy reiterated that it remains on track to meet a greenfield capacity addition target of three GW for the financial year 2027, having achieved approximately 42 per cent of that target to date. The company described project execution as progressing in line with internal timelines and resource allocations. Management noted that completing the planned greenfield additions would further increase the renewable proportion of the fleet and support long term decarbonisation goals.
