Marsons Bags Rs 270 Million Transformer Order from Cabcon

Marsons Ltd has secured a purchase order worth Rs 273.5 million from Cabcon India for the supply of 38 units of 33/11 KV, 3-phase, 50 Hz, ONAN, 10.0 MVA, copper-wound, outdoor conventional power transformers, along with accessories.
The contract, valued at Rs 273,524,000, is expected to be executed over a six-month period.
The company clarified that the buyer is a domestic entity and the order does not constitute a related party transaction. Furthermore, no promoter or promoter group interests are involved in the awarding of this contract.
Marsons is engaged in the manufacturing, trading, and servicing of transformers and transformer components, in addition to generating rental income.
Financially, the company posted strong growth in the first quarter of FY26. Consolidated net profit surged 53.2 per cent to Rs 80.3 million, while net sales rose 57.4 per cent to Rs 470.3 million, compared to Q1 FY25.
Despite the new order, shares of Marsons declined by 1.02 per cent to close at Rs 190.50 on the BSE.
