The contract is to be executed within six months and covers supply of the specified transformer units. Separately, Marsons submitted an offer estimate for repair of a Marsons make 630 kVA, 33/0.415 kV station service transformer manufactured in 2008 that was received at its works on 16 February 2023 following a joint physical inspection on 11 April 2023. The estimate followed a memorandum of meeting and itemised tasks such as unloading, untanking, physical checking, magnetic balance and coil resetting. Quoted fees for repair tasks ranged from Rs 5,000 to Rs 25,000 and covered overhauling of the tank body and supply of sleeving and Bakelite tubes for tap leads.
The firm requested that exchanges take the information on record and the filing was signed by the company secretary, who submitted the particulars under the prescribed listing disclosure format. The order for high rating transmission transformers and the repair assignment for a service transformer together reflect activity across supply and aftersales services. Marsons indicated the manufacturing and repair processes would be subject to standard inspection and acceptance procedures before dispatch or return to service.
