REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power and a leading NBFC, recently secured two national recognitions at the National Leadership Summit & Awards 2026 held at the Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai.

Harsh Baweja, former Director (Finance) and Chief Financial Officer of REC Limited, was honoured with the ‘India’s Most Influential CFO 2026’ award. The recognition highlights his leadership and contributions during his tenure as Director (Finance) and CFO from May 2024 to January 2026. Baweja accepted the award at the ceremony.

REC Limited also received the India CSR Initiatives & Social Impact Award for Excellence in CSR for Healthcare Access. The award acknowledged the organisation’s continued commitment to inclusive development and social welfare initiatives. It was accepted on behalf of REC by Alok Singh, Chief Program Manager, Regional Office – Mumbai.

The recognitions reflect REC Limited’s strong performance in financial leadership while reinforcing its commitment to impactful social initiatives across India.
