Roofsol Energy Secures Four Point Four Eight MW Repeat Order

Roofsol Energy Pvt Ltd has secured a repeat solar project order of four point four eight megawatt (MW) from Metro Decorative Pvt Ltd, which operates under the CROSSBOND brand, for installations at Kashipur in Uttarakhand and Kala Amb in Himachal Pradesh. The order follows the successful completion of an earlier three point two megawatt (MW) project for the same customer and reinforces the commercial relationship between the two firms. The projects form part of a continued shift by the customer towards integrating renewable energy into manufacturing operations.

Roofsol Energy said the repeat order reflects the customer’s confidence in its ability to deliver projects efficiently and within planned timelines, citing strengthened project management and site execution processes. The company will undertake engineering, procurement and construction activities across both sites and will coordinate logistics, testing and commissioning to align with operational schedules. Delivery will focus on minimising disruption to manufacturing while meeting performance and safety standards.

Metro Decorative is an established supplier in the decorative surfaces and aluminium composite industry and the deployment of on-site solar capacity is intended to reduce dependence on grid power and conventional generation across its facilities. The installations are expected to support energy cost management and emissions reduction objectives while demonstrating scalable adoption of distributed generation for industrial customers. The projects will add to the cumulative commercial and industrial portfolio managed by Roofsol Energy and will inform future site designs.

The repeat order strengthens Roofsol Energy’s position in the commercial and industrial segment and underscores growing corporate demand for renewable energy solutions that offer predictable returns and operational resilience. The company will leverage lessons from the earlier deployment to refine engineering designs and to accelerate commissioning timelines at the new locations. The transaction signals continued market momentum for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects among manufacturers seeking pragmatic energy transition pathways.
