Sigenergy has introduced SigenAgent, an all-domain AI agent designed for the renewable energy industry. Unveiled at the company’s ‘AI in All’ event, the system aims to turn solar and storage hardware into autonomous, goal-driven energy systems for homes and businesses.
SigenAgent works through a continuous cycle of perception, reasoning and action. It analyses real-time factors such as weather conditions, electricity prices and grid status to automatically determine the most efficient operating path. Users can set broader goals such as lowering energy bills or securing backup power, while the system configures and manages the hardware.
The platform includes four autonomous capabilities: Energy Manager for home solar and storage systems, System Doctor for rapid system diagnosis, Power Trader for storage revenue optimisation in electricity markets and Business Assistant for enterprise-level operational recommendations.
Sigenergy said the solution is supported by its installed base of over 200,000 global power stations and an annual failure rate of 0.24 per cent. Existing units can access agent features through over-the-air software updates.
The system includes user authorisation for critical parameter changes, localised data storage across six global data centres, offline backup strategies and a transparent interface showing charging and discharging decisions over a 24-hour window. It can also integrate with common messaging applications such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
Sigenergy has also collaborated with Frost & Sullivan to publish the 2026 AI-Powered New Energy Industry Development White Paper, which introduces an Energy Intelligence Level framework to guide autonomous energy optimisation.
