Avantel has received a purchase order worth Rs. 1.77 bn from Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses for the supply of satellite communication equipment. The order, placed by a domestic entity, was disclosed by the company in an exchange filing.

Dated September 22, 2026, the order was issued under a rate contract that Avantel had previously disclosed on March 25. The contract covers the supply of the equipment and includes a one-year comprehensive on-site warranty.

Avantel classified the order as a manufacturing contract. Delivery and completion of the work are scheduled by March 2027, giving the company a defined execution timeline for the contract.

The company said its promoter and promoter group do not have any interest in Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses. It also stated that its group companies have no interest in the entity that awarded the order.

Based on these disclosures, Avantel said the transaction does not fall under related-party transactions. The order adds to the company’s business in satellite communication equipment and follows the earlier rate contract under which it was placed.

Avantel shares closed at Rs. 146.15 on the National Stock Exchange on September 23. The stock declined by Rs. 0.56, or 0.38 per cent, during the session.
