Bengaluru unveils India’s first indigenous runway cleaner

Union Minister of State for MSME Shobha Karandlaje has launched CleanJet, India’s first indigenously made runway rubber and paint removal system, developed by Anlon Technology Solutions. Previously imported, this high-precision system has now been procured by the Airports Authority of India for deployment in Agartala, Kolkata, and Chennai. Anlon has also built similar equipment for Noida and Cochin airports. Developed through a technology transfer with Germany’s Bucher Corporation, CleanJet marks Anlon’s entry into aviation equipment manufacturing, making it India’s first MSME in this space. The innovation supports ‘Make in India’ and strengthens aviation infrastructure.
