Agartala Smart City will soon have dedicated bicycle lanes and barrier-free roads for persons with disabilities, announced Dr Shailesh Kumar Yadav, CEO of Agartala Smart City Limited. Bicycle lanes will be developed across key stretches, including from Agartala Airport to Lichubagan, promoting green mobility and safety for all, especially women and students. Future road developments will be wheelchair-friendly. Dr Yadav urged public support for inclusive infrastructure. Marking World Bicycle Day, a cycling rally and awareness activities were held, with participation from 42 school and college groups.
