Sany Group will display more than 30 equipment at ConExpo-Con/Agg 2023 under the theme “Made for America, Raised in Georgia” including its newest electric-powered excavators and loaders. According to the company, in-booth product presentations will show how Sany's technical solutions and professional services increase construction productivity, optimise fuel efficiency, and provide prompt customer support.

Electric Excavator and Loader

At Booth F9553 in Festival Grounds, introduction of new North American products include Sany SY19E electric mini excavator. The excavator made its first appearance at Bauma in China last year. It has an exclusive integrated electric drive system and a high-torque permanent magnet synchronous motor. According to Sany, the SY19E's efficiency is greater than 95% and is enhanced by features including insulation testing, IP67 weatherproofing, voltage and current measurement, and problem diagnosis.

Visitors at the show will also be able to observe the Sany SW956E electric loader for the first time. A permanent magnet synchronous motor that can produce 1,770 foot-pounds of torque in an instant powers the SW956E. Power output can be automatically adjusted by its inbuilt intelligent system depending on the load, speed, and other factors. According to Sany, its 282-kilowatt-hour battery can last for eight hours after charging for an hour.

The loader has a high span, long wheelbase design, and a dual-circuit hydraulic brake system. According to the manufacturer, it can handle adverse weather conditions thanks to an integrated smart temperature control system for the battery, drive motor, and electronic control module.

Putting Sustainability First

Also, the Chinese business will show off its carbon monitoring system. The platform, created in collaboration with Rootcloud, an industrial IoT service provider, has been installed in the firm’s No. 18 facility and allows Sany to measure and manage the performance of its energy efficiency. Sany will demonstrate how it tracks its corporate carbon footprint of energy and resource use to optimise its environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) system through its energy management system, which is enabled by industrial IoT and blockchain technologies.
