Awfis Launches Two New Workspaces In Chennai
The Guindy centre at Olympia Crystal spans approximately 56,360 sq. ft. across four floors and will offer a mix of private offices and shared work areas. The Manapakkam site at DLF Cyber City provides 57,802 sq. ft. of chargeable area and has been designated an Awfis Gold centre, reflecting its premium specifications.
With these additions Awfis' total footprint in Chennai has increased to 28 centres, covering about 0.875 million (mn) square feet. The expanded presence reinforces the company's position in one of South India's principal commercial markets. The company noted that the locations were chosen for connectivity and proximity to corporate clusters and to support hybrid working models across sectors.
Amit Ramani, chairman and managing director of Awfis Space Solutions, said that the Chennai market exemplifies the future of enterprise workspace strategy in India and that organisations are reimagining real estate as a strategic enabler of business agility. He indicated the expansion represents a commitment to creating future-ready environments in the city's most accessible and prestigious business districts. He added that the centres are intended to provide clients with greater operational flexibility as markets evolve.
The company presented the launch as part of its broader growth plan for southern markets and said the new centres will support occupier demand for flexible leases and scalable space solutions. The facilities development is framed as enabling faster market response for corporate clients and smaller enterprises seeking high-quality amenities. The facilities include meeting rooms, high-speed connectivity and support services tailored to tenant requirements.
