RR Kabel Unveils Future-Ready Wire Solutions for Indian Homes

RR Kabel has announced the launch of a new range of next-generation wire solutions aimed at meeting the evolving needs of Indian homes and infrastructure amid rising temperatures and increasing electrical loads. The series includes Superex Green HR+FR and Firex LS0H-EBXL wires, engineered to enhance safety, performance and sustainability across residential and infrastructure applications.

Commenting on the launch, Rajesh Kabra, Executive Director, RR Kabel, said, “As homes grow smarter and temperatures rise due to global warming, wires must evolve too. Our new range is built not just for today’s demands—but to anticipate the challenges of tomorrow, from higher temperatures and heavier electrical loads to greater safety and environmental responsibility.”

Superex Green HR+FR integrates Heat Guard Technology and complies with REACH and RoHS norms, remaining free from over 245 harmful chemicals. Designed to tolerate temperatures up to 85°C, the wire uses advanced Class 2 conductors and 100 per cent pure electrolytic copper to improve durability, reduce energy losses and support high-load applications, along with anti-pest protection and eco-friendly packaging.

Firex LS0H-EBXL is designed for high-performance environments, carrying twice the electrical load of standard PVC wires and withstanding temperatures up to 900°C through Electron Beam Cross-Linking technology and low smoke zero halogen insulation. In the event of a fire, it emits non-toxic, transparent smoke to aid evacuation and is suited for high-rise buildings, hospitals, hotels, smart homes and public infrastructure.

Across the range, the wires offer higher heat tolerance, enhanced load capacity, anti-rodent and anti-termite protection, and compliance with IS, REACH, RoHS, CE and CPR standards, reinforcing RR Kabel’s focus on safety, sustainability and long-term performance.
