UP Govt Orders Recalculation of Land Allotment for Nimbus Projects

The Uttar Pradesh government has instructed the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) to recalculate the land allotment for Nimbus Projects in Sector 3, near the upcoming Noida Airport. This move follows a revision petition filed by Nimbus, seeking reconsideration of its earlier land surrender under the Project Settlement Policy (PSP).

The recalculation is expected to provide Nimbus with an additional 1.1 million square feet of development area, potentially worth Rs 11 billion. The UP Industrial Development Secretary has directed YEIDA to include interest payments already made by the developer in the reassessment process.

Nimbus Projects, a publicly listed real estate company based in New Delhi, focuses on residential and commercial development. This directive marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to expand its footprint near the rapidly developing Noida Airport area.
