Aeron Systems Raises Rs 450 Million in Pre-Series B Funding

Aeron Systems, a Pune-based deep-tech company developing advanced navigation, weather sensing and intelligent monitoring solutions, has raised Rs 450 million in its Pre-Series B funding round. The round was jointly led by Riverwalk Holdings and MGF-Kavachh (MountTech Growth Fund).

The investment will support Aeron Systems in scaling manufacturing capabilities for advanced inertial navigation systems, accelerating product innovation and strengthening its global market presence. The funding also highlights growing investor interest in India’s indigenous aerospace and defence technology ecosystem.

Ashvani Shukla, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Aeron Systems, said the investment will help the company enter its next phase of growth while building globally competitive technologies from India and contributing to the country’s strategic technology capabilities.

Founded to develop advanced electronics, sensor fusion and AI-driven solutions, Aeron Systems has built a portfolio across inertial navigation systems, air data computers, weather and environmental sensing solutions, flight test instrumentation, avionics and resilient Positioning, Navigation and Timing (PNT) technologies.

The company’s solutions are used across defence, aerospace and research applications, supporting aircraft, helicopters, unmanned platforms, missiles, armoured vehicles and naval platforms. Its customers include organisations such as Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), the Indian Army and the Indian Navy.

The funding will further enable Aeron Systems to expand its technology capabilities and strengthen its role in developing reliable solutions for complex aerospace, defence and industrial applications.
