Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels And Ambuja Neotia Launch The Park Unizen
The collaboration combines two groups with long standing influence on Eastern India's hospitality and built environment, aligning institutional experience with rising demand for design led, hospitality linked living formats. The architecture is by Gensler, which drew inspiration from the layered ecology of the Sundarban mangroves and articulated the facade to respond to light and climate. Common areas and the club have been designed by Bobby Mukherrji Architects, who curated a material palette and experiential detailing.
An elevated wellness terrace with a panoramic pool, landscaped zones and curated leisure spaces forms a central feature of the development and is intended to deliver integrated lifestyle amenities to residents. The forthcoming THE Park Hotel will provide 218 rooms and is planned as a luxury landmark offering banquet and event spaces, signature dining, nightlife venues and dedicated wellness and leisure facilities, and will include an air taxi landing facility. Together the residential and hospitality elements are expected to reinforce EM Bypass as a key growth axis in Kolkata's urban expansion.
ASPHL is described as a leading hospitality operator that began operations in 1967 and now manages a growing portfolio of over 39 hotels across five brands, while also operating the retail food and beverage brand Flurys with over 100 outlets in India.
