Balu Forge Enters NATO Defence Supply Chain
The induction is underpinned by Balu Forge’s advanced closed-die forging capabilities, precision machining expertise and integrated manufacturing model. The company operates automated, high-speed multi-axis CNC machining centres, including seven-axis and eleven-axis systems, enabling the production of complex geometries with high accuracy and consistency.
Balu Forge also highlighted its strengths in material science, supported by specialised heat treatment and alloy optimisation programmes. These processes enhance resistance to extreme temperatures and high-impact stress, ensuring components meet the rigorous performance requirements of modern defence systems.
For investors, the onboarding into the NATO supply base represents a strategic expansion of the company’s global footprint and a diversification into high-margin defence revenues. Management stated that the development strengthens Balu Forge’s positioning in global defence manufacturing and supports long-term, technology-led growth.
