Bhago Mobility, in partnership with Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) and Honda Power Pack Energy India (HEID), has launched an electric last-mile mobility service for Delhi Metro commuters at ITO Metro Station. The service, introduced under the BhaGoMo – iRide initiative, aims to improve sustainable last-mile connectivity at one of the capital’s busiest metro stations.

Under the initiative, commuters can rent Honda ACTIVA e: scooters from Gate No. 3 at ITO Metro Station through the Bhago app. The onboarding process uses DigiLocker-based verification and is designed to be completed in under five minutes. Rentals are available on an hourly as well as daily basis, allowing users to choose short or extended usage depending on their travel requirements.

The service is supported by swappable battery technology through Honda’s e:Swap network, enabling battery replacement in around two minutes. Bhago said batteries can be swapped across nearly 90 stations through 202 battery exchangers in Delhi NCR, helping address charging downtime and range anxiety.

As part of the first phase, Bhago plans to operate hubs at six Delhi Metro stations already finalised with DMRC, with the ITO hub now serving as the flagship location. Vehicles can be picked up from a metro hub and returned there, offering commuters a flexible travel option for office trips, errands and multi-day use.

The launch strengthens Bhago Mobility’s partnership with Honda’s electric mobility ecosystem in India, combining HMSI’s vehicles, HEID’s battery-swapping infrastructure and the Bhago platform. The initiative also aligns with DMRC’s focus on improving safe, sustainable and convenient last-mile connectivity for metro users.

Company representatives from Bhago Mobility, HMSI, HEID and DMRC said the partnership is intended to make electric last-mile transport more practical for daily commuters while creating a scalable model that could be extended to additional metro stations and other transit hubs across India.

Bhago Mobility said the service is part of its broader strategy to build an integrated urban mobility platform that combines electric vehicles, battery-swapping infrastructure, metro-station hubs and digital fleet management to serve commuters, gig workers and micro-entrepreneurs.
