IREDA Loan Disbursements Jump 44 Per Cent In Nine Months
Loan disbursements in the corresponding period last year stood at Rs 172.36 billion. During the nine-month period, loan sanctions increased by 29 per cent to Rs 401 billion, compared with Rs 310.87 billion a year earlier.
As of December 31, 2025, IREDA’s outstanding loan book stood at Rs 879.75 billion, marking a growth of 28 per cent over Rs 689.60 billion in the year-ago period.
Commenting on the performance, Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, said the strong results underline growing confidence in the agency’s financing capabilities and continued traction in the renewable energy sector. He added that the expanding loan book highlights IREDA’s pivotal role in supporting India’s green energy transition.
