JLL has inaugurated a 120,000 sq ft Global Capability Centre (GCC) for JLL Business Services (JBS) at Prestige Sky Tech in Hyderabad’s Financial District.

The facility, spread across two floors, is JBS’s second hub in India after Gurugram and is expected to scale to around 1,600 employees over the next two years.

The centre was inaugurated by Duddilla Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics, Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana.

According to the Minister, Telangana has attracted nearly 150 GCCs over the past 20 months, generating more than 1.5 lakh high-value technology jobs. He highlighted Hyderabad’s growing role as a destination for innovation-led global capability centres.

Matthew Rees, Chief Shared Service Centre Officer, JLL Business Services, said Hyderabad was selected for its deep talent pool and ability to support JLL’s global operations. JBS operates across six countries with a workforce of more than 6,500.

The Hyderabad centre will deliver services including advanced analytics, technology-enabled solutions, finance, human resources, project management, lease administration, advisory services and business process optimisation.

Dheeraj Popli, Head, Global Service Centre, India, JLL Business Services, said Hyderabad offers access to a strong STEM talent pool and specialised expertise across financial services, healthcare, biotechnology and semiconductors.

Hyderabad accounted for 16 per cent of India’s total GCC leasing activity between 2024 and mid-2026. GCCs also represented 42 per cent of the city’s overall office leasing activity during the period.

Financial services and insurance companies accounted for 34.5 per cent of GCC activity in Hyderabad, followed by technology firms at 23.2 per cent, healthcare and biotechnology at 17 per cent, and engineering R&D operations at 12.1 per cent.

The LEED-certified facility incorporates flexible collaboration areas, integrated technology and acoustic systems, wheelchair-accessible desks, wellness and medical rooms, height-adjustable workstations and extensive natural lighting.

JLL said the new centre will strengthen its service capabilities while enabling the company to tap Hyderabad’s expanding talent and GCC ecosystem.
