LTM has announced that Universal AI, an online learning experience from Massachusetts Institute of Technology Open Learning, will be made available to its workforce in cooperation with upGrad Enterprise. The initiative forms part of LTM's commitment to institutionalising foundational AI reasoning across its talent pool and to support logic-driven decision making that underpins client growth. The company said the programme will be offered to employees across tech and non-tech functions.

Universal AI is a self-paced programme designed by MIT Open Learning faculty and covers 16 foundational modules along with vertical-specific modules, suitable for all skill levels and requiring no coding. The curriculum focuses on how AI systems operate, the technologies that power them and the ethical considerations surrounding deployment. Delivery and deployment will be facilitated by upGrad Enterprise as the implementation partner.

LTM indicated that the training aims to equip staff with scientific thinking and first-principles reasoning skills essential for an AI-driven economy and for long-term career development. Upon completion, employees will receive credentials from MIT Open Learning certifying their recognised level of AI readiness and understanding of its first principles. The company expects the partnership to help institutionalise AI fluency and build organisational AI capability at scale.
