South East Central Railway (SECR) has invited bids for an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract worth Rs 4550.2 mn for a section of the Dallirajhara-Rowghat-Jagdalpur New Railway Line in Chhattisgarh. The contract covers a nearly 30 km stretch between Kurkanar and Bhanpuri and forms part of the larger corridor linking the mineral-rich Bastar region with the state rail network. The authority has positioned the package as a key link to improve passenger and freight movement within the region.

Tender documents carry tender number CAO-C-BSP-26-27-14 and an earnest money deposit of Rs 91.0 mn. The completion period is 730 days and the bid validity is 180 days. The first pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 24 August 2026 at 11:30 am. The EPC scope excludes Kurkanar station and includes Bhanpuri station as specified in the package.

The package covers construction from chainage 12+700 to 42+600 as Package I within the broader 140 km Rowghat to Jagdalpur alignment. The works will involve earthworks, track laying, station works and associated civil and structural works as set out in the tender documents. The contract is offered on an EPC basis to ensure integrated delivery of design and construction.
