Simplex Castings, a leading name in precision metallurgy, has secured two important fabrication orders from Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) and Paharpur Cooling Towers. The company stated that these orders further reinforce its position as a key contributor to India’s expanding industrial and infrastructure landscape.
For the DVC Raghunathpur Projects, Simplex has received a fabrication contract worth Rs 117.6 million from BHEL’s Trichy unit. The scope includes the supply of 1,401 MT of columns, auto-weld components and general fabrication on an Owner Vendor Material (OVM) basis. The project carries an execution period of 10 months and is expected to strengthen the company’s engagement in large-scale power and industrial assignments.
In a separate order, Paharpur Cooling Towers Limited has placed a Rs 8.073 million contract for the fabrication and supply of 90 MT of supporting structures, handrails and crate assemblies. This order requires delivery within three months, reflecting the company’s capability to handle diverse and time-bound fabrication requirements.
Simplex confirmed that both orders are from domestic clients and do not constitute related-party transactions. According to Chairman and Executive Director Ketan Shah, these wins highlight market confidence in the company’s expertise and are set to enhance its order book and revenue prospects in the coming quarters.
