Tata Steel Utilities and Infrastructure Services Limited (UISL) has planted 5,000 saplings across various locations in Jamshedpur as part of its ongoing green initiative. The effort aims to expand the city’s green spaces, enhance biodiversity, and contribute to long-term environmental sustainability.

Conducted under the company’s sustainability and CSR drive, the plantation included native species suited to the local climate. UISL also engaged community members, employees, and volunteers to encourage wider participation in maintaining the saplings and promoting ecological awareness.
