Tesla to Expand Superchargers in Key Indian Cities

American electric vehicle maker Tesla plans to expand its supercharging network in Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru ahead of commencing deliveries in India by September, a senior company official confirmed on Monday.
The announcement came as Tesla opened its second Indian experience centre at Aerocity in the national capital. Regional Director for South East Asia, Isabel Fan, said the network will include stations in Gurugram and Noida, as well as another in Saket, South Delhi.
Tesla’s first Indian experience centre was launched in Mumbai last month alongside the Model Y, priced from Rs 5.989 million. Delhi and Mumbai remain top priorities, with a Gurugram supercharger set to open in the coming weeks, followed by installations in Saket and Noida.
In the Mumbai region, new supercharging points are planned for Lower Parel, Navi Mumbai, and Thane, adding to the existing Bandra Kurla Complex site. Fan also confirmed that Bengaluru will be added to the network soon.
Beyond charging infrastructure, Tesla will roll out mobile servicing, remote diagnostics, a dedicated service centre, and a Tesla Approved Collision Centre in India.
