Unified Logo Unveiled for Regional Rural Banks

A new, unified logo for Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) has recently been unveiled, marking a significant step towards building a single and cohesive brand identity for RRBs across India. The initiative follows the consolidation of 26 RRBs across 11 states and Union Territories under the ‘One State One RRB’ principle, effective from 1 May 2025.

The branding exercise, undertaken by the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, in collaboration with National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Government of India, is part of the ‘One RRB One Logo’ initiative. Currently, 28 RRBs operate more than 22,000 branches across over 700 districts, playing a critical role in rural credit delivery and financial inclusion.

The new logo symbolises the core values and mission of RRBs. An upward arrow represents progress and economic growth in rural areas, hands signify nurturing and support to communities, and a flame reflects enlightenment through knowledge and empowerment. The colour palette reinforces these themes, with dark blue denoting trust and financial stability, and green representing life and growth.

The common logo is expected to provide RRBs with a modern, distinct and easily recognisable identity nationwide, strengthening their visibility and reinforcing their collective commitment to rural development and inclusive banking.
