Ayodhya airport will get additional direct air services to Delhi and Bengaluru from October 1, followed by a daily non-stop connection to Mumbai from October 30. The existing IndiGo service to Hyderabad is also being prepared for conversion into a daily operation, widening travel options from the temple city.

Passengers travelling to Delhi will have two direct options at different times of day from October 1. Akasa Air flight QP 1608 will depart Ayodhya at 12:50 pm and arrive in Delhi at 2:20 pm, while Air India Express flight IX 1274 will leave at 2:10 pm and reach the capital at 3:45 pm.

IndiGo will begin service to Bengaluru on October 1 through flight 6E926. The route will initially operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, departing Ayodhya at 9:30 am and arriving in Bengaluru at 12:05 pm. A revised schedule proposed from October 25 would move the departure to 2:15 pm.

Air India Express is planning a daily service to Mumbai from October 30. The flight number and timings have not been included in the final schedule, so the operating details remain pending.

Airport director Dhirendra Singh said preparations were underway to make the existing Hyderabad connection a daily service. The expansion is intended to provide more links with major metropolitan centres and support travel by tourists and pilgrims arriving in Ayodhya from across the country. The Delhi services will operate at separate afternoon times, while the Bengaluru route will initially have a limited weekly frequency before the proposed timetable change.
