United Drilling Tools Wins Order From Baker Hughes Singapore

United Drilling Tools (UDT) has received an order from Baker Hughes Singapore Pte for the supply of winch accessories used in the oil and gas industry. The company said the order was received in the ordinary course of business and is commercial in nature. The contract is to be executed within 30 days. United Drilling Tools Limited manufactures oil drilling equipment and provides related services from its registered offices in Noida and New Delhi.

The estimated contract value is Rs 1.16 million (mn), equivalent to Rs 11,57,846 as disclosed by the company. The sum represents the full consideration for the supply of the specified accessories. The amount is presented to clarify the contract scale.

The order was awarded by Baker Hughes Singapore Pte, an international entity, and the company indicated that the supply will be carried out domestically. The supply relates to winch accessories that form part of oilfield equipment and services the firm manufactures. The winch accessories form part of routine supply lines for wellsite operations and are integral to hoisting and handling systems.

There is no interest of the promoter or promoter group in the entity that awarded the contract and the company confirmed that the arrangement does not constitute a related party transaction. The filing noted that disclosures were made pursuant to Regulation 30 read with Schedule III of the SEBI listing obligations and disclosure requirements. The company indicated that the transaction will be executed on commercial terms and that related party provisions do not apply.
