Recently: VE Commercial Vehicles (VECV), a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited, reported sales of 10,384 units in December 2025, compared with 8,324 units in the same month last year, registering growth of 24.7 per cent.

The performance was led by the Eicher brand, which recorded sales of 10,177 trucks and buses, up from 8,035 units in December 2024, reflecting growth of 26.7 per cent. In the domestic commercial vehicle market, Eicher-branded trucks and buses clocked 9,527 units, compared with 7,545 units a year earlier, marking a rise of 26.3 per cent.

On the export front, VE Commercial Vehicles reported sales of 650 units in December 2025, up from 490 units in the corresponding period last year, representing growth of 32.7 per cent.

Sales of Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses stood at 207 units during the month, compared with 289 units in December 2024, reflecting a decline of 28.4 per cent.
