Jindal Steel Secures LoI for Odisha Iron Ore; Manganese Block

Jindal Steel has reportedly received a Letter of Intent from the Odisha government for a 50-year mining lease of the Roida-I Iron Ore and Manganese Block in Keonjhar. Spanning over 104 hectares with a 126 MT deposit and 3 MTPA clearance, the block boosts the company’s raw material security. The lease, won via e-auction, aligns with Jindal Steel’s integrated, sustainable steelmaking vision and supports its long-term self-reliance and regional development goals.
