JSW Steel’s July Crude Output Rises 19 Per Cent YoY

JSW Steel reported consolidated crude steel production of 2.62 million tonnes in July 2025, reflecting a 19 per cent year-on-year increase compared to 2.22 million tonnes in July 2024.
The company’s Indian operations contributed 2.55 million tonnes, up from 2.14 million tonnes in the same month last year, marking a 19 per cent annual growth. Meanwhile, JSW Steel USA – Ohio reported a marginally lower production of 0.07 million tonnes, compared to 0.075 million tonnes in July 2024.
Capacity utilisation at JSW’s Indian facilities stood at 92.5 per cent during the month, indicating robust operational efficiency.
The increase in consolidated production reflects continued momentum in domestic steel demand and optimised plant performance across key regions.
