Guwahati's Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBI) achieved a record-breaking 6.57 million passengers in FY 2024–25, marking a 7.67 per cent increase from the previous year. This includes 91,594 international travellers—the highest since Adani Group assumed operations in 2021. The airport expanded its network with new international routes to Paro, Malaysia, and Singapore, and added domestic connections to Ahmedabad, Durgapur, and Ziro. Cargo operations surged by 183.91 per cent, handling 12,893 metric tonnes. LGBI also earned Level 2 ACI Customer Experience Accreditation and the Greentech PCWR Award for sustainability efforts.
