SpiceJet Achieves Top Safety Rating in DGCA Audit

SpiceJet has announced that it recorded zero Level 1 findings—the most serious category—during the Directorate General of Civil Aviation’s (DGCA) recent year-long safety audit covering all scheduled airlines in India.
The result is a significant endorsement of SpiceJet’s strong safety culture, stringent compliance with regulatory norms, and alignment with global aviation safety standards.
The airline reaffirmed that safety remains a top priority, and the DGCA findings underscore its operational rigour and commitment to excellence.
Earlier this year, in March, SpiceJet successfully renewed its IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) certification, valid until March 2027. The IOSA, conducted by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), is a globally recognised and comprehensive evaluation of an airline’s operational and safety systems.
This achievement reinforces SpiceJet’s dedication to maintaining world-class safety practices and further consolidates its reputation as a reliable and safety-conscious carrier within India’s aviation sector.
