The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has commenced work on the Chattergala Tunnel project in Jammu & Kashmir, marking a significant step towards enhancing connectivity and infrastructure in the region. This strategic tunnel, located along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, is expected to bolster transportation efficiency and strengthen the state's road network resilience, especially during adverse weather conditions.
