80m Darotha bridge completed

As per news reports, a key 80-metre river bridge on the Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train corridor has been completed in Gujarat’s Valsad district. Located between Boisar and Vapi stations, the bridge features two 40-metre-long steel box segment girders supported by a single circular pier with a 5-metre diameter, rising 18 metres above ground. This marks a major milestone for India’s first high-speed rail project, which aims to significantly cut travel time across western India.
