BEML Limited said it had secured an additional order for the manufacture and supply of Vande Bharat sleeper trainsets from Integral Coach Factory. The contract has been valued at about Rs 1,806.0 million (mn) and was disclosed under regulatory filings on second September 2026. The company indicated that the award is in the normal course of business and forms part of its ongoing rolling stock deliveries.

The scope of the order encompasses both manufacturing and supply of the sleeper trainsets and will be executed through the firm’s established production channels. The securing of the additional work will be scheduled and integrated with existing production plans without disruption to current commitments. The company will allocate resources from its manufacturing facilities and coordinate with vendors to meet contractual timelines and quality standards.

From a financial perspective the order enhances the company’s order book and contributes to near term revenue visibility for upcoming reporting periods. The value, expressed in a converted format as mn, reflects the scale of the contract in a common reporting unit and will be incorporated into forthcoming financial disclosures and investor communications.
