A 45-metre span has been successfully launched over the busy Kalupur Flyover using the Span-by-Span method.

The crossing forms an important section between the Sabarmati and Amdavad Bullet Train stations on the Mumbai–Amdavad Bullet Train corridor.

Built with 19 concrete segments and weighing around 1,200 MT, the span erection was completed in just three nights under planned night traffic blocks to minimise disruption for daily commuters.
