Naresh Lalwani, general manager (GM) of Central Railway (CR), visited the Pune railway division for a daylong inspection. Along with a group of senior CR representatives from various departments, he conducted inspections of the Pune to Satara route and various works within the division. Indu Dubey, the divisional railway manager for the Pune division, as well as other officers, served as the department's principal head.

The GM examined the passenger amenities and technical projects at Satara, Wathar, and Jejuri stations. He examined the station, running room, level crossing gate, panel and relay room, bridge, and railroad in great detail, expressing his satisfaction with the work carried out by the Pune division.

Lalwani went to Satara's new station building to inspect it, as well as the surrounding area, the accident relief medical van, and the loco pilot and train manager (guard) running room. He also checked out the Satara traction substation, where a speed test between Satara and Wathar was run. “Railway gate number 42 and tunnel no. 4 were inspected during the visit. He visited the station building in Jejuri station premises which has been decorated as a replica of Khandoba temple and commissioned tower wagon shed. He also inspected the subway route between Jejuri-Rajewadi. Lalwani also inspected the maintenance works at coaching maintenance depot in Pune,” said Manoj Jhawar, Pune railway division spokesperson.
