RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has secured a work order from East Coast Railway valued at Rs 245.3 million (Rs 245.3 mn) inclusive of taxes. The company received the Letter of Acceptance on 19 March 2026 and disclosed the contract under applicable listing regulations. The order relates to operational support within the railway network and will be executed as a service agreement. The contract involves outsourcing manpower for signalling and telecommunications maintenance in the Khurda Road Division and is confined to routine maintenance activities. The scope is limited to workforce deployment and does not include construction work or system upgrades. The company also confirmed that the contract does not involve related party transactions and that there is no promoter group interest in the awarding entity.
