Railway's Nagpur unit sees Rs 4.27 billion in freight revenue

By loading 1,142 rakes in May, the Nagpur Division of Central Railway generated freight profits of Rs 4.72 billion, an increase of 1.3% over the same month the previous year. According to a CR statement, the accomplishment highlights the division's dedication to providing steady value to its stakeholders. The division's earnings from April 24 to May 24 totalled Rs 8.92 billion, indicating a continued uptrend in goods transportation services. It stated that the revenues from coal traffic, which amounted to Rs 3.86 billion by loading 910 rakes, were included in the performance across all freight categories. It stated that profits, which came in at Rs 3.35 billion with 869 rakes, grew by 15% compared to the same month last year.
