Servotech Wins 2.58 MW Solar Project From South Eastern Railway
Under the agreement, Servotech will oversee the complete execution of the solar PV project, including design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar panels of varying capacities across multiple sites within the Ranchi Division. The initiative forms part of Indian Railways’ sustainability mission, which aims to achieve net-zero carbon emissions through the widespread integration of renewable energy solutions.
Commenting on the development, Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd., said the company was “honoured to collaborate once again with Indian Railways” in advancing its sustainability efforts. She added that the project reflects the confidence Indian Railways places in Servotech’s technical capabilities and innovative solar solutions.
By deploying high-efficiency solar technology, Servotech Renewable aims to help the South Eastern Railway meet its clean energy targets and set a model for green transformation in the transport sector.
The successful completion of this project will further strengthen Servotech’s position as a leading player in India’s renewable energy space while supporting Indian Railways’ broader solar adoption strategy across its zones. The initiative reinforces India’s national commitment to a net-zero carbon future and highlights the growing contribution of renewable energy in decarbonising key infrastructure sectors.
